Vloga - The New Blog Standard

By now you should be well acquainted with Blogs and how pinging distributes your blogs to a number of blog directories.

With the explosion of online video over the past couple of years, video blogs [Vlogs] are becoming the new blog standard.

Just as the name suggests, a Vlog is an online video log. It's the same thing as a BLOG, except it's comprised mainly of VIDEOS instead of just text.

For a while, video blogging was not that popular, as it was not possible for search engines to index the content. However, this has now been resolved using technology that can automatically translate audio and video files into text - it's like a robot that "listens" to video and transcribes the words, which is then indexed in a search engine.

Once software capable of doing this is EveryZing; and other major search engines are implementing their own versions of this capability. One can speculate another Google buyout here.
